I am also the author of two books: Worth the Pain, a memoir about my near-fatal battle with bacterial meningitis (named a 2014 Kansas Notable Book by the state library) and The Klinefelter Legacy, a nonfiction account of the death of a central Minnesota police officer and its aftermath.
