Andreea Groenendijk-Deveau is a London-based social entrepreneur with over two decades of experience driving meaningful change in the philanthropy and social impact sectors. She has worked with various organisations supporting marginalised groups, including young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, people who are chronically ill or disabled, and individuals advocating for women's and minority rights. As the Founder of Outcry Witness, Andreea leads a one-of-a-kind platform that allows survivors of sexual assault to create anonymous records of their experiences, empowering them to choose if, when and how to report the crime. Her work has consistently centred around amplifying the voices of those often ignored or silenced. She has led multi-faceted operations, from fundraising and stakeholder engagement to management and project delivery, always ensuring the mission and values of the organisations she works with remain at the forefront. Andreea's ability to blend strategic leadership with compassion and empathy has delivered tangible outcomes across the causes she champions. Her advocacy extends beyond the organisations she leads, as she seeks to foster diversity, inclusion, and equity in every initiative she undertakes. In addition to her entrepreneurial work, Andreea is an Ambassador for the Romanian Diversity Chamber of Commerce and has supported Asociatia Telefonul Copilului, a member of Child Helpline International in its mission to protect children in Romania for nearly two decades. A skilled communicator, Andreea holds an MA in Financial Journalism from City University, London, and has contributed to leading business and general publications in both Romania and the UK.
