Through my immersion in the ever-changing world of academia as a senior at UMass Amherst, my experience as a top correspondent for the Massachusetts Daily Collegian, and as the developer and proprietor of a food blog, I maintain both a modern and unique perspective of local, national and international journalism. During my studies, I have acquired quintessential technical skills such as fluency in AP style, beat reporting, event coverage, Op-Ed writing, cultural coverage, social media coverage, photojournalism, videography, and podcasting. My first dedication is to the unbiased truth. In my years of commitment to the trade, my apparent versatility and thus comfortability in my writing, I am confident in my ability to promote the spread of otherwise unattainable knowledge to the public in an enticing yet concise manner.
