Claim your profileI’m the Assistant Editor for the flagship Focus on Africa podcast and TV programme for BBC News. In June 2023 I oversaw the relocation of the show from London to Nairobi, and I currently manage a team of 18, split across three countries. I also managed the transition of Focus on Africa from a radio show to a digital-first podcast as part of the BBC’s modernisation strategy, increasing listener figures by more than 20%. A multimedia journalist in the truest sense of the word I have worked in and managed digital, TV, radio, podcast and online journalism. I specialise in foreign affairs and producing cross-platform content for underserved international audiences and developing and commissioning original story ideas. I have a passion for reporting and producing from the field, which I have done on multiple occasions across the world.
