Their past achievements include awards for their journalistic and creative pursuits at the local, state and national levels, alongside years of competitive spoken word and a self-published poetry book. When you love to do it all, balance becomes imperative to success. Alexis has mastered the tricky task of ambition. Their aspirations include breaking into the film industry as a screenwriter while exploring their calling to investigative journalism. No matter where they go, poetry is sure to remain a central part of their journey.Aside from writing, Alexis is passionate about engaging the local communities of SLC. They love supporting local businesses, food, music and art across the state. Between concerts, Alexis is either skiing or waiting none too patiently for snow.
