I managed to turn a teenage hobby and passion into a successful business and career. I now work as a critic and journalist in the video games space and run a thriving independent games media business.I consider myself a web development and online content specialist; I've been building websites and communities for over two decades, since the age of eleven! Over the years, I've added to my passions beyond writing and gaming, enjoying the business development, audience growth, and even the financial elements of running a nimble business with strong margins.I've spent a great deal of time floating around the industry, but in recent years I have firmly been associated with two key publications; ReedPop/Gamer Network's VG247, and RPG Site, which is operated by my company, Double Black Ltd. I'm extremely proud with what has been achieved on both of these websites - and excited for where the teams are taking them going forwards.
