As a business reporter at the Chicago Business Journal, I am passionate about delivering insightful and timely news and analysis on the local office, downtown retail, and startup sectors. With a B.A. in journalism from the University of Denver and eight years of progressive experience in the journalism field, I have developed strong research, writing, and social media skills that enable me to produce engaging and informative content for a diverse audience.Prior to joining the Chicago Business Journal, I worked as a healthcare reporter at Aging Media Network, where I covered the latest trends and developments in the senior care industry. I also spent 1.5 years as a crimes and courts reporter at The Daily Sentinel of Grand Junction, where I reported on a wide range of topics, from SEC football to oil and gas. Through these experiences, I have gained a broad and deep knowledge of various industries and markets, as well as the ability to adapt to different beats and formats.
