What percentage of the eligible population do you think donates blood products on a regular basis?--would you believe less than 10%?--more like 3%.At ImpactLife, we aim to change that.We can't make more blood; we can't buy more blood. If we could, we would. But nobody can. It must come from one source - willing donors. In 2023, after serving as a morning show reporter for two years at KSDK in St. Louis, I got promoted to a marketing position there - community impact manager. Then, despite the success we were having at KSDK, corporate decided they were eliminating all local marketing, nationwide. In July of 2019, I was promoted to executive communications director at Rockwood School District in St. Louis County. There, 4,500 staff members serve more than 21,000 students in 33 school buildings! This "education destination" is St. Louis County's go-to district and this promotion came after serving for three years as the district's communications coordinator. In September 2015, I returned to television news, as a producer-reporter at Tribune Media's KTVI Fox-2/KPLR News-11 in St. Louis. That came after wrapping-up two years as a communications specialist for the Mehlville School District, where I shot and edited my own video stories. For 15 years before that (try to keep up!), I was a free-lance correspondent/producer for KSDK Newschannel 5-St. Louis, Fox Sports-Midwest, Small Business Television (sbtv.com), Higher Education Channel (hectv.org), and periodically for the networks and cable networks - including ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, Al Jazeera, the Rachael Ray Show, Inside Edition and The Food Network.Specialties: I am a communications manager and video story-teller!
