A senior editor at one of the world’s most prestigious news titles, I’ve been a catalyst for change and creativity, combining multi-discipline teams to enhance workflow and efficiency, organizing the planning and launch of new products and projects and measuring success as digital both disrupts and enhances our media. Most recently, I established a new newsroom in Barcelona to focus on delivering news to Dow Jones's professional customers. The team launched on Sept. 18 on time and on budget after a five-month project rollout and has hugely enhanced our coverage. The next key phase will be around data strategy, for which I'm recruiting. Editorially, I focus on quality, high standards, attention to detail and organizing and mentoring teams who can meet those standards across a range of disciplines. With that, I bring commercial awareness and a desire and willingness to try new approaches and set and achieve goals that enhance and develop both myself and others.
