I am also serving on the Society of Professional Journalists national board of directors, and president of SPJ's New England chapter. I have worked for a variety of other publications, including the Washington Post, CommonWealth Magazine, Watertown Tab, and the Bunker Hill Community College Magazine. I have covered everything from town council meetings, police blotter, and snow storms, to the 40th anniversary of the Boston busing crises, the 2013 Boston Marathon Bombings, and the subsequent shootout with the Watertown Police. In May, 2014 I graduated from Emerson College with a B.A. in journalism.
